Towards the end of 2023, the new Electric Silverado will be released on the market. The most distinguishable feature of the model is its 400-mile capacity on a full charge which outperforms all other truck manufacturers.

It has a distinct design that does not reflect older models but features a unique quality all on its own. Since it is a battery-powered vehicle, the front hood offers more cargo capacity, doubling as a trunk.

Unlike its gas-powered counterparts, the bed and cabin are connected into a single frame. The truck’s underbody does not include a central driveshaft or auxiliary which allows for better aerodynamics

The truck's bed is relatively short but the tailgate and rear seats are adjustable to accommodate additional space for cargo, camping, and any other equipment. The bed floor opens into a compartment for extra storage space.

When the tailgate is expanded, the bed measures 5 feet 11 inches in length and an additional 5 feet 10 inches if the rear seats are folded.

How Much Can The Electric Silverado Tow?

For improved aerodynamics, you should opt for the Rally Sport Truck (RST) trim. Its suspension system allows better handling in uneven terrain and increases payload and towing capacity.

RST models can tow up to 10,000 pounds and maximum cargo weight of 1,300 pounds. A standard Electric Silverado offers lower hauling (8,000 pounds) and cargo load (1,200 pounds) capacities.
